The arrival of a celebrity's new bundle of joy is big news, and big business for celebrity magazines, which are willing to pay big bucks for the rights to the first photos, but as prices rise, how long will they be willing to pay?

Baby photos are big, big business. How interested are you in buying a magazine just to look at photos of Celeb X's latest child?
I never buy any of those magazines!! The parents don't care about their kids...just how much money they can make of the pictures. Shame on them all!!!!
Really? People want to buy magazines with pics of children that they have zero association with? Come on, get a life. How is there a market for this? Sure, it's a business decision for the celeb rags, but there is a line of taste that should not be crossed when it comes to citizens' private lives (and no, appearing in a movie does not mean you are obligated to be imaginary buddies with bored housewives) and there is no rule that says that these mags should be as low-rent as their subscribers. Jeez, class up America.
I have to say that selling pictures of your baby for an exorbitant amount of money is ridiculous! These people don't need the money and those of you who rush out to buy the magazines just contribute to the greed.
they spelled enceinte wrong all over the place.
If the magazine insists on purchasing the pictures, instead of paying off the so called "celebrity" for the photos, why not give the money to charity. Don't give the money to the celeb, so that they decide, have the magazine give the millions to flood relief victims or some other issue. Or, lets just stop buying the darn magazine and stop the madness!
So the next time some celebrity complains about the paparazzi.... show them a few mag covers. Didn't Brangelina move to France to AVOID the press? It's disgusting they would sell images of their children for cash (J Lo $5 mill??)... like who really cares anyway? Gawd.. between opening their yaps and spouting their political viewpoint (Smooth move Sharon Stone you empty headed moron) - to shoving matches to get a pic of Britney's #(*#)@%& ... it's any wonder that any half-witted individual would pay $$ to buy one of their pieces of trash journalism.
The bubble will burst when the economy is so bad that spending money on a magazine to look at the wealthy couple with child will no longer be an option. Lunch will more important.
the paper used to print celebrity magazines on would better be used to make toilet paper. I hate celebrity gossip and the rags that print that garbage. And for the people who support that junk and have their heads so far up the behinds of celebrities I feel sorry for you. Pull your heads out and get a life. Stop wasting your time and money and being so concerned about people who don't even know or care that you exist. When you're cold and hungry see if Brad, Angelina, Britney, Lindsey, Paris, etc, are going to come to your aid and comfort you.
Which do we prefer??? Sell the pics and donate proceeds to charity or have the paparazzi sell pics to a magazine and pocket the money!!! As far as am concerned, Paparazzis are only bellyaching because they are being denied the opportunity to make a killing with the first pics!!
